One feed worm connecting to the separating worm passes the product to the separating head gently but effectively, where the product is passed through either a 0.5 or 0.7 x 20mm slotted filter.

For the desinewing of fresh meat trims, these machines can alternatively be supplied with a 3mm filter. With this tailored filter, the machines effectively remove small quantities of sinew, gristle, tendon, cartilage, bone chip and wish bones from fresh meat trims to achieve a high quality ground meat, from a much lower grade raw material.
